Monica Call, DO
Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Schererville IN, yes “The Region”. I moved to Indianapolis for undergrad at IUPUI where I graduated with degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology. In 2018, I attended Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout my life, I have been an active participant with global missions. As my passion for helping those locally and globally grew, I realized full spectrum family medicine would best equip me to continue serving my neighbors both near and far.
I discovered FWMEP when my sister attended the program in 2015. Watching her grow as a physician, I realized FWMEP provided all the full spectrum family medicine opportunities I was looking for with my training. I moved to Fort Wayne for my clerkships and quickly grew to appreciate this large city with a small-town feel. FWMEP was my top choice for residency, and I am beyond excited to continue serving such an amazing community.
Outside of medicine, I like to dabble in various hobbies such as sewing, snow skiing, water sports, rock climbing, road cycling, ballroom dance, and much more! I enjoy learning new skills and trying out new hobbies. My favorite activity, though, is playing with and walking my puppy Woody!
